...but I think Tesco people deserve a lot of credit right now.  I bet they are living a hellish life right now.

Absolutely, hats off to them.  They deserve so much more kudos than they get.

KF, i am just glad you have an answer and don't need to be waiting around for them any longer! They don't sound like the best people.

Aww, KF.

Well, at least it's over. Now you move on.

Good idea on the photos. I have sooo many photos here, the old paper kind. I need to scan them and upload them somewhere safe. If the cargo ship (when it's that time) sinks, they will otherwise all be gone. And some of them are over 100 years old.

PS Kick them hard when you can, right in the legal soft-spots, if they are a bad employer!

What’s happening to Travel to the UK because of this Virus..?  I’m concerned for those who receive their Vignette and only have a 4 week window to get to the UK and to their selected UK Post Office to pick up their UKVI Visa, if there’s a travel ban in place..?

We don’t know at this point - I think we’re just going to have to wait for announcements from UKVI regarding what’s happening with visas.

It's done.  And I have so much peace with it.

I have some ammunition which I may or may not decide to use at a later time.  The owners of the company think they are above the law and I may make sure they not.  But we will see how I feel in a month or so....  after I get my money.   ;D

In my role, I have a lovely golden parachute.  Even though I work for scumbags I know better than to have a contract that doesn't have a golden parachute.

My to do list so far while I'm stuck at home:
1.  Unsubscribe from all the junk email lists
2.  Go through my photos and delete lots (for example 50 shot of lunch - don't worry I don't actually photo my food - can be reduced to 1 photo)
3.  Load old photos from my laptop onto my icloud.  I've had a digital camera since 1998 so lots of pics.  I'd love to have them all saved in the cloud and safe and secure.

From there it moves onto things around the house.   ;D
Sorry to hear that, KFDancer :(. At least it’s done now though.

Thanks guys.  I truly am okay.  When I ran our updated forecast last Friday after all our orders starting falling out, I had an absolute panic attack and told a confidant that I knew I wouldn't have a job come this Friday.  I really am good at forecasting.   [smiley=laugh4.gif]

It's sh*t, but I'm so glad to get some time with my kids.  I have lived 9 lives and always seem to come out the other end.  I will be fine.

My recommendation right now is for anyone impacted to contact their MP. As of yesterday the UKVI hotline is only for Chinese nationals and specific employment visas, it will need guidance on a slew of other scenarios now!

Are we positive it's only for chineese nationals and employment visas? Not doubting, but there was a section in the guidance for "all other visa queries" and mentioned about people who would be impacted with renewals (i believe it was).

Can anybody confirm if they've tried calling?

It hasn't been updated since February 27th, so... Its not clear at this point. If I had already submitted my application and experienced difficulties I would definitely call that too, but I think there needs to be more published guidelines.
