We get it.  Trust us, we get it.

I’m bored of binge watching tv.  ME!
I've been turning the TV off or casting music to it (because that's the easiest system to connect to). I think I've watched everything I had any interest in!

I hope you get a bit more security around when your trip home will be now Ksand. It does make it easier to be far from home when you know the end date.

I'm such a creature of habit that I signed up for online board games and haven't played any yet. I hate bugging people to schedule things, and I can't muster the social energy without that schedule. I'm hoping to join in the group I used to occasionally game with tomorrow though so hopefully I'll feel more comfortable with the games after it. (I really can't handle most computer games, the graphics on Minecraft make me super dizzy and my husband plays at least 30 hours of it a week by himself! I'm a tetris and original Mario Kart kind of girl.)

My hands decided they don't like working on the crochet ear protectors. It's hard because you don't want them to have too much give or they won't protect the ears and stretch too far, but crocheting tightly is harder on fingers and wrists. So my knuckles swelled up today and I'll just have to finish the ones in progress and see how they feel tomorrow after sleeping in stiff braces. I got about 20 done I think, just need to sew on the buttons. I'm sending a set to a very old friend, and it makes me happy I'll be able to help him out. He's been through the visa process with his partner so one of the few who understands how difficult it can be here!

One sentence to sum up 2020, so far: At one point this week, 1 loo roll was worth more than a barrel of crude oil!

It's so interesting seeing all sorts of things that will be in the history books. I guess it's just such a dramatic time that there are lots of snippets like this!

But then, its also scary knowing we don't really see the whole picture...and in the short term, guffaw at our loo roll prices...when maybe we'll be crying in a while!

I’ve been busy with
reading,
writing,
and ’rithmatic.

Personally not too affected: it helps if start counting worry, anxiety and dread as hobbies. Fortunately we’re pretty well placed for lockdown, which goes some way towards alleviating those.

Oh, and hair's getting a bit long.

My hair is now at the point I need to clip it out of my eyes. My husbands is fluffy and he's getting little ringlets in spots, it's adorable. He won't let me touch it, so I said if it gets too hot for him to be comfortable then I'm getting clippers.

A bunch of friends in the US are reporting that people have filed for unemployment in their names. They only learned about it because of course the state contacted their current employer for information. That's a bit scary for those that have been laid off! Also, no wonder the systems are completely overwhelmed if that much fraud is happening too. :(

My hubby's hair is getting wild and very 80s. He's looking awesome.  ;D

My husband and I both are not really into beauty and fashion type things.  We generally go in together for a haircut about once a year.  Normally, we go in the summer, typically June, but we had this year's haircut in the last week of February.

It's no longer a fresh haircut... my husband's hair is getting fluffy.  But that's how it usually is... I prefer this to fresh haircut.  :)

I haven't had a hair cut since 2016........... Because I can't be bothered with the price (ouch), the chitchat, and they way they guilt me because I haven't had a haircut since 2016. :P

I have been trying to remember the last time I was at a hairdresser and I honestly think I must have been around 12 or 13 at the time. I let them do a hairstyle(!) hated it and spent my early teens trying to grow it out.  ;D
Ever since then, I just recruit whoever I can to take a few inches off the bottom every now and again!

I was loving my pixie cut before this happened, but obviously can't get it cut every 5-6 weeks right now. My husband is very particular and never has longer hair or a beard. He said this is the longest it's been since grade school!

My last haircut/colour was on Christmas Eve, before I went away... who knows when the next one will be! I usually ask my hairdresser to make the highlights at my roots dark enough that it won’t be noticeable when they grow out but annoyingly this last time she did them a bit lighter than I wanted, so you can see them growing out.

My last cut and color was Apr 2019. Was due to get it done when we visited the US in June but that's gotten cancelled now.

Guess I'll be trimming and coloring it myself until we can schedule a trip next year.  :\\\'(
