Called the number in the email and have been on hold for 35 minutes.

I still show as having an appointment today on their website. I guess I’m going to have to cancel it myself to rebook it?

OKAY I stayed on hold for like an hour and got through to someone who was amazing and I got it cancelled their end and they rebooked me at the Chelmsford location for the 31st. I had to pay the extra amount but they said they’d refund me the amount within 10 days because of this whole situation. Glad I just got paid today...

Good to hear. I just submitted my application yesterday. What I wasn't aware of or naively ignored was that the appointments have fees of their own! What a lovely surprise!

Will wait till the end of this week before I book an appointment near me (aiming towards a weekend in April after the lockdown is over).

Oh there are free ones but only at core locations. So we were going to go to Croydon originally today. But the Chelmsford one is so good cos I can literally walk there- like a 5-10 minute walk!

@tazzymundo : There are free appointments as @Alyssa said at the Core centres only. They are usually the farthest in the future (5 weeks on the UKVCAS website parameters, if I recall correctly) and also must fall within 10:00-16:00, Monday through Friday.

Yeah I didn’t originally book at a paid location as I wiped out all my funds paying for the visa itself. But seeing as they’ve said they would refund me and also that I’ve just gotten paid finally, I went for it. Hopefully doesn’t get cancelled

I have a priority ILR appointment in Leeds Friday morning. I got a return message from them that kind of sounded like it was still open the other day. I sent another note today just asking for clarification so we could arrange transportation NOT on public transportation.
