Lockdown Goals versus Reality

Me:  if we have to self-isolate, I’m going to Marie Kondo the crap out of this house!

Day 8 of isolation:  still haven’t unpacked suitcases from Florida.   ::)

A year and change. Wanted to wean before I went back to work.... at new year. Keeping going ha just been the path of least resistance!

Honestly?  Nursing is the BEST tool in a mother’s toolkit.  I would just allow it to run its course naturally, if you are cool with it.  Nothing wrong with weaning, nothing wrong with continuing.

Yeah. But she doesn’t sleep. So breastfeeding is kinda killing me. Some nights I’m up about hourly still... if she weren’t breastfeeding, at least my husband could help a bit more. Can’t remember the last time I got into a deep enough sleep to dream.

I may or may not have a box of items I haven't unpacked from when I moved to the UK... in 2010.   ;D ;D

Awesome!!  I'm not the only one.

Though today I DID IT!  I unpacked the suitcases from when we landed 4 weeks ago.

Yay for unpacking!!! I had hoped to get work done in the new garden, but all brown bin service has stopped....so can’t do much. Been prepping our Council vans today, we are going to be delivering food and medication to those in need.

That is so kind of you.

Once testing is available, if I did magically catch a mild version of it as my GP thinks I am definitely getting out to help as many people as I can. (I'm still pretty sure it's allergies, I've struggled at this time of year since moving)

I'm officially unemployed as of today so I really need to set some learning goals for myself. The new job exposed me to a lot of technology I'd never touched before, so now I just need to get comfortable working with it. A month wasn't long enough to have anything worthwhile on my CV when pivoting to a completely new to me role, and half of that time was spent trying to get system access. *sigh*
