As a U.S. citizen living in the U.K. on a spouse visa, would it be possible to get hired on a military base like RAF Lakenheath for example and still satisfy the financial requirement? Essentially, If I'm getting paid in U.S. dollars rather than Pounds but it still meets the 18,000 pounds minimum salary, does this satisfy the financial requirement or must I earn British Pounds from a U.K. business?
