Then I'm assuming you did so with your current address.  You have nothing to worry about. The website isn't working for MILLIONS of people. It isn't just you.

There are hundreds of news articles about the issue. Google may help ease your mind.

I just received my paper check! The address is a bit garbled. Maybe that's why it didn't work when I entered it on the site. It says "UNITED KINGDOM ENGLAN" on the bottom lol

Well that's a bit of good news, considering they were saying paper check would take months. Glad you got yours, hopefully mine will be coming as well

To chime in here, we had one arrive this morning too in the UK - so surprisingly quick in all honesty.

I just tried the 'get my payment' tool today and it finally showed they mailed a check, now just hoping it gets here!  (I used my UK address)

I've finally been able to log in to the IRS website and it informed me that they mailed out a check on May 1st to the address they had on file. I haven't had it through the post yet though. Happy days

My stimulus payment arrived in the post on Wednesday! Totally out of the blue :-) Unfortunately I’m finding it very difficult to get it cashed - not the most liquid of assets over here! I’ve come to learn most banks don’t cash foreign cheques (exceptions being Barclays and I think Lloyd’s). My advice is if you don’t have an account with either, apply for one ASAP before the cheque arrives so you don’t run into the same problem as me. It’s been a hassle getting my documents verified quickly with COVID because most branches are closed. I’ve got to travel a bit to sort it out.

But yes definitely a nice little bonus nonetheless :-)

Are people receiving cheques which the IRS website says where posted on 24/4?

I was finally able to log into the website today and its says mine was posted two weeks ago. I haven't received it yet, and I'm concerned that the way I entered my address on my 1040 might cause Royal Mail problems. My flat number and post code were correct though and hopefully that is good enough for the Royal Mail to find me.

I already received my cheque but was curious to see if I could finally log on. I was, and it indeed said mine was posted on 24/4. I don't think your address should be a problem as long as the flat number and post code are correct.

For some reason my absentee ballot took about a month to get to me, so I was surprised when I got the cheque so quickly. Hopefully yours is just being slow to get to you for some reason, and you'll get it soon.

The 'Get My Payment' site said my check was mailed on May 1, 2020, and I received it today, May 11, 2020. And then to avoid the bull$hit involved in depositing a US check into my UK bank, I used my US bank's mobile app to deposit it in my US bank, where it will sit for quite some time before eventually helping to fund a family trip to Disney World.  :)
