Furlough

I apologise for this stupid question but ..............

My American husband got a letter today from the company he works for.  He has not been in to work for a few weeks.  The letter stated that he was considered to be furloughed and asking him to sign and return a document and that he would be paid.

My question is, would this be considered a benefit - which, as he is on a FLR visa, he is not entitled to?

Hope everyone is staying safe.

It is NOT public funds, meaning he is eligible.

Easiest to search “foreign” on that link.

As his employer is actually the one receiving the funds, he is absolutely eligible for this. :) I'm sure you read the actual link provided as well.
The usual. American girl meets British guy. They fall into like, then into love. Then there was the big decision. The American traveled across the pond to join the Brit. And life was never the same again.
