But I'm shielding, anyway, so it's moot.

Jimbo.. She did it again!  ;D  ;)

hah!  It's now "stuck", though.  That's just how I say it.  "I'm being shielded" is just so awkward to say.  :P

I've let you down, Jimbo.  You deserved better.  I'm sorry.   :(

Honestly it's infuriating to see the entire families together as it's not like a parent with young children who don't have a choice and they never care  about the fact they are blocking whole sections or hovering closelu to you.

We were out for a bike ride the other day and thought we would stop by the store to pick up a few missed things.  My wife was happy to sit outside, but my son wanted to come in.  I was really torn because it would be helpful to have hinm there to carry the basket and find stuff, but I didn't want to give up the moral high ground of shopping by myself.  Every trip after that would be so disappointing if I couldn't criticise everyone else.

By the way, I am making actual baked cheesecake right now with 600g of cream cheese and 200g of sour cream.  The base is something called "Nice" biscuits.  They are a little to coconut but all we had.

I made a custard tart today with a proper pastry crust.  I started the crust yesterday and let it rest for far longer than it needed to in the 'fridge.  And today I finished the crust and made the custard.  It was worth every second I spent on it.  And we still have six slices left (three each)!  I'm so fat happy right now.

I bought 10 kilos of boneless ribeyes. I cut them up for steaks, a roast, steak sandwiches and chili today.  Used my food sealer and have them put away in the freezer.

I also slow cooked some smoked baby back ribs. I love them so much.

I also found out how to make popped cheese so made lots of little cheese crackers.

That looks amazing! I am so looking forward to receiving our next grocery order with eggs and strawberries, custard pie was on my list of things I haven't treated my husband to yet that I really want to try. I still haven't managed to get yeast so no cinnamon rolls (the other thing on the list), but the cinnamon raisin buns from the GF bakery have been making me so happy at breakfast time.

I still have strawberries from last summer in the freezer... what is your plan for the ones you have coming?  I could really use the freezer space.  Plus, I wouldn't mind eating strawberries.  :)

I was going to top the pie with strawberries because it's delicious. :) If I could afford it atm, a mixed berry layout is also super tasty and pretty. I'm hoping my blueberry bushes and strawberry plants make lots of berries this summer!

I made a doggy meatloaf yesterday.  Minced beef, crushed Weetabix, peas and sweet potatoes, topped with Bisto gravy.  The hound loved it!
