You need go get thr SALT IKAT if you can as those are apparently the best at the moment (not tried mine yet) but it's all kicking off because the price was raised from £3 to £3.50 for it hahah

Those are all good choices i'm gutted as they now seem to be out of the Northern Monk Stars & Stripes completely (the pb&j stout)

Will let you know how it is when it finally snakes its way through my queue

I did also order some new release beer from Siren Brewery that's a collab they did woth a California brewer called Green Cheek. Beer is called Every Second Matters (it's their rebrew of Every Minute Matters) and it's SO good. So smooth and tasty but still also 7% hah

Sent my manager a photo of my beer yesterday and he took the piss out of me as he drinks more real ale. He was like "i think we need to have a talk about the alcohol content in your beer....." because he saw the 9% on the snickers hahah

Next time you're in Massachusetts, make your way out to Worcester and visit 'Greater Good Imperial Brewing Company'. They specialise in high alcohol beer and it's very tasty!  They used to only brew stuff 8% or higher, but I think now they've got your normal 4.5% kind of range too. Still, high alcohol beer is their speciality.

Not been to them before but i will remember that! :) Back in MA in December (fingers crossed). I don't usually go for high alcohol content beer specifically (usually i find they are harder to drink as they tend to be the stouts) but there's been so many good IPAs lately weighing in at 7% or thereabouts that I am going for them more than i thought.

I collected my Aunt Bessies beers, and was really excited to get stuck in. Unfortunately I was a wee bit disappointed... the taste was nice enough, without being brilliant. But the main issue for me was that it was full of chunks of sediment, which really put me off.
I've got one can left, and might try pouring it through a sieve and see how I get on!
Really glad I got to try it, despite not being in love with it.

When I initially poured the first one I was thinking it was a chill haze, as I'd put it in the freezer to get cold quickly.  Then I realised it wasn't just haze, it was actually chunks, but again I thought well, I'd left it in the freezer and it's got too cold and some of the proteins are frozen.
But the second 2 cans had only been in the fridge and weren't over-chilled, and they had the chunks too.

Such a shame, but wont stop me drinking the final can tonight after I sieve it!

I'm not sure to be honest...with my limited knowledge about can conditioning though, i think they may not.

Are they can conditioned?

I'll double-check the can when I get home, but I really don't think it's can-conditioned.  Even if it was, though, surely the sediment would just settle at the bottom and not be suspended in chunks throughout the liquid?

I'm going to email the pub I got them from, just to let them know and then they can take the decision whether or not to sell any more.
