At least it’s not as cold in the UK as here in the Falklands this week (strong winds and snow showers from tomorrow onwards):

Why did you go there in winter?!?  Crazy girl!

Though, as you can tell, you aren’t missing anything here!

Asking myself the same thing at the moment .

It’s almost midday here, it’s -3 Celsius outside and this is the current view from my bedroom window (at least it’s sunny though):

Yesterday afternoon and today... a really thick haar, the kind you can see billowing around you. I love it!  :D

And cold and rainy here again today. They are saying we'll be close to 80F towards the end of the week, though. That should be just ghastly, combined with all the puddles of water standing around that can't evaporate because of the humidity.

Absolutely gorgeous! The perfect amount of sun with a lovely breeze thrown in.

We managed to find a campsite available this weekend. Taking adventure of the sun while she makes her annual appearance!

Apparently there is a mega heat wave?  I mean, I'm happy it's 19C and mostly cloudy so it's perfectly fine, but not a mega heat wave up here. Are folks enjoying a scorcher elsewhere?

We've had some pretty hot (for here) days. Friday and Saturday I think, in particular.

It's been upper 20s, maybe low 30s this weekend.  Sleeping has been trying the last two or three nights, and there's another couple of days of still, muggy heat to go.  Still, it's about 10°C cooler than I'd be experiencing every day for the entire summer in Arkansas (but there we'd have AC), and it's more than tolerable in the shade... especially when a little breeze stirs up.  My phone says it's 27C right now... 80f.  That checks out.

Buuuuut... my British husband has decided we will have AC when we finish our house.  I didn't even ask for it.  He's an adult, we have disposable income, and he realized he doesn't have to live this way (for very much longer).

We were just discussing what lightweights we've become in terms of temperature! I worked somewhere for a while where it was 105 on a good day back then and thought nothing of it. Now just don't have the tolerance!  ;D
