Not enjoying it, no.  But I'm a natural red head so have never been a fan of heat.   ;D

We camped this weekend and I literally thought I might spontaneously combust after my husband insisted we go back to the campsite (British field with no trees) as that's "what camping is all about".  Somehow our marriage survived.

We did install air conditioning a few years ago and I absolutely love every last bit of it.  According to my weather thing, right now it is 31.6c outside and 22c inside.  I'm a happy girl.

JF - I'm pleased your husband is onside (I had to suggest it on my side, but thankfully my husband is also a fan).  It is WONDERFUL (and frankly not a new concept) to have a warm house in the winter and a cool house (the one week of the year) in the summer.

It's been 29-31 for the past 3-4 days where I've been (Devon and London).

I've become such a wuss though.  Back in the USA, I wouldn't have complained at all.  I was speaking to my mom a few weeks ago, and she was thinking about putting the A/C on, and it was upper 30s where she was.  If it was upper 30s here, DH and I would be little melty puddles on the pavement.

ETA - Sad little melty puddles.

I genuinely think it’s because you can’t escape the heat.  No rivers to go tubing in, no big swimming lake, no ocean (for me anyways), no pools, no air con in malls or shops.  Offices can’t cope.  Public transport is the worst.  It used to be my car was the only place I could escape.

I'm laying in my garden in just my pants and I'm sweating. Almost naked outside in Scotland and SWEATING! Praise Jesus.

My tan this year is off the hook. I look like I've been living in Spain.

But I'll be back to work soon (new job) and working more hours than ever before so I'm trying to enjoy this while I can.

Tropical!  ;D It's that way where it's dark out but still really warm.

I just went to the shop in my shorts. That is unheard of for me this time of year. I'm usually in 2 layers by now.

So much rain!

Hope you're all ok and not flooded?

Oh, wow! We've not even had a frost yet, it's been so mild. But looking at the 10 day, the overnight low is going to be getting down there.
