Yeah both of you make good points, at least doing it ourselves we can ensure everything is in there.
Question about the process. At what point do you scan and upload your documents? And how long do you have to do that? Like, do you pay your fees and submit the application and then have a window to upload everything? Or do you scan and upload, THEN submit the application and pay?
Once you start filling out your application, how long do they give you to submit it before it expires? I seem to remember the first visa, it gave you either 10 or 30 days - can't recall which it was now.
And a question about our bank statements. Since I was furloughed in March, the payments have been weird. I've received 1 payment thus far, which covered the period of March 30th through May 3rd. The payment was put into our bank account in 2 amounts. The first payment was one week, and then a week later was a smaller amount to cover the remainder of the period. The problem is that only the first payment is reflected in our most recent bank statement - the smaller amount won't be reflected until our June statement. That's not ideal for us. Lloyd's Bank allows you to request a statement that you can download and then print off. Would this be sufficient? Since everything is being scanned in black and white it will look just like a regular statement, except it's not, ha.
