Loved the Dunkin Donut one with the handle - but don't think they make those anymore

I miss a good bagel so much!

Me too!!

There is a small cafe close to us that does halfway decent bagels and I had a bagel with smoked salmon and cream cheese just before lockdown. Not sure yet if it will ever open up again as I can’t see how it can possibly have enough custom with social distancing in place.

We had to cancel our trip to the USA this year to visit our daughter so having a good bagel is a long way off. Our trip was going to start in New York where we were to meet up...

I'm laughing at all the Dunks comments, because my husband used to make fun of DD's all the time and now he is literally addicted. He orders a large iced coffee nearly everyday, even in the winter  ;D . I think he's actually the most distraught about leaving behind Dunkin Donuts.

thanp42 - I used to vacation in Maine almost every summer, and actually prefer it to Mass in many ways (don't tell my Boston relatives  ;) ) My husband loves it there as well, as much of the coastline reminds him of home.

Aye, I've found that geographically it feels very similar. A foggy day on the coast could be either continent. I love Fife, full of small fishing villages. Same Maine Coast feel.

OK all, you've got be craving Dunkin...Donuts are so disappointing here!!! I hate Krispy Kreme!

I'm not even a dunks fan (don't tell my family lol) i got a taste for Starbucks when my friend worked there in high school and couldn't ever go back Haha.  I don't think dunks as the best donuts but compared to Krispy kreme id take them. I miss Kane's donuts and coffee rolls

Growing up had 'Mister Donut' donuts - as one of the bakers was friends with my Mom and he used to drop them off on Saturdays on his way home.  Those donuts were beyond incredible.
All defunct now in USA, except for one in Godfrey, IL. They're apparently all over Japan!

And to the OP.  We do this. Turn a thread into food.  It’s our thing.

I love Entenmann’s crumb topped donuts addition to those mentioned.

It's almost like we're all trapped in our houses with nothing to do except eat...
