Any updates re: Sopra Steria appointments?
« on: July 10, 2020, 11:58:32 AM »
Hello all! Just curious how things are going for those waiting to hear (or who have heard) from Sopra Steria. I saw on the website they are now processing appointments for those who applied in May. I applied for my FLR(M) extension on 4 June, so hopefully next in line for news.

Has anyone submitted their biometrics through the new process? Looks like it's a matter of submitting a new photo.

Has anyone received their new BRP card? How long did it take from the time you got the email?

Like everyone, I'm anxious to get news and have this process done for another 30 months. I'd also like to get away for a holiday at some point this summer but that's the slightly more selfish reason haha.

Thanks for any updates!

I applied in May, and aside from being told in an email the new process will apply to my application I haven't heard anything else. That email was July 4th so I am assuming it will be at least another week before they provide an update (from the timeline in that email). My visa has now expired and I'm unemployed, so I simply want mine processed so I can prove I'm legal to work in this country. Vacation is the last thing on my mind!

FYI - I applied April 15 and soon after that I uploaded all my documents.
A few weeks later, I had the email requesting a copy of the marriage certificate and our proof of residence (mail). Several people have had a similar email.
I recently got the latest email telling me I qualify for the new process to provide a "facial image" upload - thereby not needing to book an in-person appointment.
I have not had a follow-up email with further instructions on how to move ahead with this new process.
My visa/BRP expires July 23.

Hi All,

Just finished my FLR(m) application and upload last week. I am just wondering if anyone knows if things are moving any faster or if I should not expect to get an email for a couple of months?

Thanks

I can report that I still have not seen the promised email inviting me to upload a photo etc.
I'm hoping we start to see these come out this week!
I will be sure to post any developments and look forward to hearing from others.
Good luck all,
E

I got my email saying it won't be processed within the service standard, still nothing on the photo upload though. :(

I submitted for ILR on the 28th of March...received the same email first week in July (that I don’t need to visit a biometric centre).  Hoping for an update this week, haven’t heard since that email....following this thread in case others hear something....

May 15, received the "not processed within the service standard" email on the 16th of July so they are on top of those. I got the "you don't need to attend biometrics" email on July 4th I think.

Hi all, we applied for my wife's FLR (M) on 24th March.

Our appointment with Sopra Steria (Southampton) is tomorrow. We received an email on Friday asking us to re-upload my wife's BRP card which I've done.

Anyone here attended a service centre lately? We did choose super priority so hope it all happens quickly!

Hi! I applied for naturalisation on the 29th of June and received the email just now to book my appointment (I've had ILR since 2013 so I think it's been too long).  My appointment is this Friday in Manchester with document checking!

I applied for ILR on April 15, and besides the July 4 email saying that I would not have to attend a Biometrics appointment, I’ve heard nothing. Not any requests for documents or anything.

Hi all,

So our FLR (M) appointment was yesterday. Took my wife's biometrics in the morning and as we had chosen super priority, we received the decision yesterday afternoon. Just waiting on that BRP card now!
