Naturalisation documents - please check
« on: July 13, 2020, 02:24:46 PM »
Hi all,
I'm uploading documents for my naturalisation application and I feel like I don't have enough compared to ILR which I just did in March, haha.

Can someone please confirm this is all I need? I feel like my passport(s) and BRP cover most of these.

My current, former, and emergency passports (3 total) cover all of the following)
  • The passport issued by United States of America
  • Proof of living in the UK for 5 years if applying in your own right or 3 years if applying as the spouse of a British Citizen
  • The United States of America passport to prove the level of English language required

Marriage or civil partnership certificate
  • Our certified marriage certificate

proof of freedom from immigration time restrictions & Current Biometric Residence Permit
  • Copy (front/back) of my BRP card (Indefinite leave to remain)
  • Should I upload a copy of the letter too?

Referees
  • Two referee declarations with signed copy of my passport photo

One proof of British citizenship for husband
  • Husband's passport (all pages)

It doesn't ask for my Life in the UK test? Is that because I already have ILR? Should I include that/bring it to my appointment?

I don't feel like this is enough...do I need anything else?

Thanks!
