ILR number of payslips
« on: August 04, 2020, 04:40:10 PM »
Hi all,

Got a question about ILR and payslips please.

We're applying for my wife's ILR under category A, hence we need to submit payslips for the last 6 months.

I get paid on the 25th of every month. When submitting the application, do we submit the last 6 payslips we have, or do we submit payslips that cover 6 months?

For example if we submit the application in the first week of September, do we submit payslips for:
- 25th March, 25th April, 25th May, 25th June, 25th July, 25th August

Or do we also need to submit payslip for 25th February as well?

Thanks.

You must cover a FULL 6 months, and not a day less. This usually means providing 7 months of payslips to make sure every single day is covered.

So, if you get paid on 25th of each month, and you are applying after you receive the August 25th payslip, then the 6 months you have to cover are:

25th February to 25th August 2020

So, you need to send the following payslips:
1. 25th Feb
2. 25th Mar
3. 25th Apr
4. 25th May
5. 25th June
6. 25th July
7. 25th August

And the corresponding bank statements, showing every payslip deposit:
1. Feb
2. Mar
3. Apr
4. May
5. June
6. July
7. August

Thanks.

Regarding the bank statements, can I use ones I receive monthly through the post, with the latest one dated within 28 days of application, or do I need a single statement covering 6 months and dated within 28 days of the application?

Just the normal monthly bank statements you receive in the post are fine - that’s what they expect you to send :).
