No, it’s not a big deal and will not affect your visa decision in any way.
If you’ve lost your passport, then you’ve lost it. It happens, and it’s not an issue... you just write on the application form that it has been lost and therefore it cannot be provided.
Though if you have the photo page and picture of your old visa, then great - just upload those and explain why you don’t have the other pages.

Thank you so much! What I’ll do I upload a cover letter when I input all my documents into the app, as I opted out because I thought the app would be better. I have until October 1st to get everything submitted. BTW I passed the Life in the UK test which I had to attend 6 days post op after my surgery last week. Very fun.
