I agree. I think they are trying to fix their statistics. Anyone who applied March - June is already out of standard processing time (for FLR(M) at least) so we aren’t a priority anymore. Anyone from end of July - September is within the 8 weeks for FLR(M).

I’ve been collating dates of FLR(M) extension approvals from various sites and I’ve only seen July - September approvals unless they were escalated.

If that’s true, I have no words. They keep insisting it’s done in date order. I’ll be calling Monday to escalate as I was told I had to wait until then (others who applied after me weren’t told this so apparently I got a bad support employee on the phone). And if they won’t help, I’ll call again. And again, until I get someone who will do something.

Already went the MP route and got brushed off ‘come back in the new year’.

I seriously feel for everyone who applied during lockdown time.

Just got done submitting my visa .. found the app easy to use but the livness check was a bit harder then I thought .. though got some great advice from people so thank you for that !! The only thing I found weird was it never asked for my 16 digit code not once ..  but other then that everything went smooth all my paperwork got transferred over from the site .. it’s scary to hit the submit button but I guess we all gotta do it 😕

Not sure if this is where we are posting timelines

I applied /paid + IHS fee for my visa Sept 9th

App invite Sept 23rd

Submitted October 5th

We shall see ..   does anyone have any updates from the app on receiving their new BRP ?

Wishing everyone so much luck with this crappy process 🙂

No update for me yet... It will be telling if you receive your BRP before we do because it seems they are trying to mess with the processing time statistics.

Does anyone know how they're confirming approved applications? Is it completely by mail still. I think last time I just got a letter out of the blue. Is that still happening now even with the app?

I think most people have been getting their decisions by email, from what I've read in various forums.

Hi dtowngirl and others
I applied online on April 15, submitted via the app on August 25, and have not heard anything.
I'd love to know when you get your decision, as I hope to be not too far behind you!
But then again, that assumes they are approving in date order, and that does not seem to be the case.
Let's all agree to post here the minute we get our approvals!
Good luck all,
E

Applied for ILR July 22nd, in person biometrics was August 27th... haven't heard anything.

If I think too much about it, it just gets me really down. My grandma passed away recently, and I couldn't go back for the service because of my visa situation. Her death wasn't a surprise, but I wanted to be there for my family. I really need a new car, but can't get one, as I'm not eligible for a loan because of my visa situation.

I absolutely hate feeling so unsettled and stuck. I guess I was a bit spoiled before, in that we did priority and got a decision in just a few weeks.
4/2015 Married
7/2015 Spousal visa granted
8/2015 Moved to England
10/2020 ILR granted

I’ve been keeping an eye out to see if you’ve gotten anything, as our application dates are super close (mine are 29th March application and 22nd Aug IDV app). Nothing on my end too.

Anyone who is having issues accessing bank services and loans should contact their MP. It is beyond ridiculous what they are doing to us. I've mostly been avoiding the visa forums because it has me at my breaking point. I've never been so depressed without a path forward. We are beholden to an office that sees us as subhuman.

Did anyone notice that all proposed job training for the recovery is also only for those on universal credit, effectively excluding anyone on a visa. Between that and their stance on the arts, I feel like there is literally no future for me in this country, or really anywhere because living here has crashed my health further while tanking my career.

After having a quick DM chat with UKVCAS on Twitter, I have cancelled my in person appointment for next Friday. The person confirmed that all of my documents were in order, which is what I wanted to check. I don't know if that is helpful for anyone, but I thought I'd share it.

I don't think they actually have the access to do that. None of their helplines do so why would a twitter manager?
