We've just received the email approving our ILR - SET(M), late afternoon.

We put our application in on the 20th June, received the biometric reuse email on the 23rd July. IDV app invitation was on the 28th Aug, completed and submitted on the 29th. So just short of 4 months from application submission to approval.

Really hoping all yours come through soon :)

Fantastic news! Congratulations!!!  :) [smiley=balloon.gif]

Wow, it's great to see some movement on the visas at last. I applied for ILR in July, had biometrics (in person) in August.

The fact that I've seen some June applications come through recently makes me feel slightly more positive. Most days I just try not to think about my visa  :-X

This is fantastic news! Your dates and scenario are almost identical to mine (I applied on June 11, but that's the only difference). Congratulations.

Thanks everyone! We've been seeing some movement elsewhere at the same time so I'm really hopeful they'll all start coming in for you all soon.

For what it's worth, ours was a little more complicated than the most straightforward applications and we ended up uploading over 40 documents all in.

We had booked a FREE appointment for next Friday 23rd Oct to have the Biometrics done even though we had used the app to capture the photo and to upload all the docs. Tonight we have received the following email:-

UK Visa and Citizenship Application Services

Dear Lead Applicant,

If you have received this message on behalf of the lead applicant, please ensure they are informed immediately.

We are writing to let you know that UKVI have asked us to cancel your UKVCAS appointment.

This is because UKVI's records show that you have successfully submitted your application through the IDV app and that your application is in progress. As a result, you do not need to attend a UKVCAS appointment.

If you selected a chargeable appointment, the price of the appointment will be refunded to you.

What do I need to do next?

  -  You don't need to do anything. UKVCAS have cancelled your appointment and the price of the appointment will be refunded to you over the next 10 days.

  -  If you need an urgent decision on your visa due to compassionate or emergency reasons, please contact UKVI here.

Please note, your immigration status will not be affected while your application is being processed.  If you do not have a passport or a travel document, please contact UKVI for further advice.

Kind regards

UKVCAS

Please note that we will never send an email to ask you to provide payment details.

This email address is not monitored. If your question is not answered above, please check our website.

Fingers crossed that we hear something soon!

I did the same thing--scheduled for tomorrow (Oct 16)--but cancelled it after a Twitter DM exchange with UKVCAS. In the exchange, the person confirmed all of my information had been submitted,  but unfortunately didn't know/couldn't offer any other insight.

From our exchange: "There isn't any issue with your application. Those who've already submitted via the app shouldn't be booking appointments, but if you've already booked it then we won't stop you from going to it." [Hmmm, I guess they've changed that now.]

When I told the person I'd cancel after receiving confirmation of my application submission, the person was rather nice--even said, "No worries, hope you get a decision soon!"

I’m 4 days away from hitting the 8 week mark of using the IDV app. 2 weeks away from 7 months since my online application.
Nearly identical to me! 7 weeks yesterday, submitted my application March 28th. Let’s hope we see movement soon! Xx

Hi everyone,

I submitted my on line application on the 18th of August. Received my IDV bio reuse on the 9th of September. Did my Bio via app on the same date.

As many of us been wondering and hoping, I made another in person appointment on the 5th of November for Biometrics just to make it sure I have one in case no further update is given.

This morning, 15th October, I received an email informing me that my FLR (M) application got approved. My BRP card will follow in about 7 days.

The in-person booking that I made got cancelled automatically. (they sent me an email informing me that they've cancelled my up coming biometrics schedule).

It had been 8 weeks since I submitted my application online Aug. 18 and 5 weeks since I did my IDV app bio reuse on Sept. 9.

I would like to thank @ksand24 and @larrabee for all your assistance and extra effort to assist each and every one of us and answering all our questions pertaining to our applications. Salute to you both. You have helped us in so many ways. Congratulations for a job well done supporting us every step of the way.

To everyone who's been waiting patiently to get their result, don't lose hope! I was just like you trying to keep my mind sane despite all the situation around us. Thou I've been at work, the majority of the time, my mind is somewhere else...wondering abut my visa. I know it's not easy but we will all get through it.

This forum basically became each and everyone's support system, I'm glad I am part of it. Thank you all, stay safe and God bless you. Keep Praying, God will be there to bless and guide us through.

Thank You,

Jay
