So I think you people will understand when I tell you my husband and I just had a mini heart attack! (yes stress levels are blooming lately because of many things).

I just had an email from UKVISASETM saying:

"Thank you for your application for indefinite leave to remain in the United Kingdom. To help me consider the matter, please send me the following document.  Please send the required document via email to UKVISETM@homeoffice.gov.uk.

Document required:

1.          A signed declaration to where the funds which you relying on to meet the financial requirement came from."

OMG, I looked back over my checklist of documents and saw I left this blank with a question mark! I wasn't sure if I was supposed to type something up and hand sign it and guess I never asked the smart folks here!!! CRUD!!  Well I've quickly typed up what I hope is correct and signed it, scanned it and emailed it right back! (it said I had 14 days, are they crazy? We're on this like glue)

Lets hope I did it correct and now they will process my application. I applied on May 14th and used the app on Aug.27th.

Whew, deep breath.....

Shouldn't be long now.  :)

That's great! You applied so long ago it gives many of us hope to hear soon.

Thanks Heidi for sharing about your declaration of funds, I think I did it ok now. Just checking my email all the time now for a reply! haha

You need them to escalate your case since you have urgent travel planned. I would call and ask them what to do. If they give you no advice, then I'd contact your MP--but that's just me.

You can try, but if it's regular travel that's not an exception, and 6 weeks isn't outside the service standard for FLR(M) or ILR. Many of us have been waiting 6 months. Your MP may be able to escalate on compassionate grounds if there is a valid reason for that.

Thanks all. Hope it gives the March/April applicants a bit of hope through this insanity. I know I was desperately waiting to see even just 1 approval from that time period so I came here to share immediately. Fingers crossed for everyone x

Glad to see more decisions coming through. I'd be interested to know how long the BRP takes to arrive after the emails go out, and what company they are using to send them.

Our BRP arrived this afternoon on the doormat, no knocking or signing required, so that was just under a week. :)

Now I'll have to read back and see what to do with the old one!
