Is it 6 months from the date you paid for your application or when you uploaded everything to the app? I submitted my application for ILR July 29th and uploaded my documents after the invite to the app on Sept 20th or around there.

For ILR I'd say 6 months from application date personally, but the home office may say from biometrics. Hopefully they are working through the backlog and you'll have it before then!

We received the email this morning telling us our ILR (M) is approved!!!!! Good luck to all that are still waiting. think we are going to wait until all the backlog is gone before we apply for citizenship. Thanks again for all the help we received.

Congratulations!!!   ;D

Honestly, if I were you, I'd just move on with the citizenship now while you have the momentum! Waiting for citizenship feels very different to waiting for the results of the visas as you already have ILR so there is not that constant worry that you might be made to leave. 
And the wait can be long at the best of times so the sooner you apply, the sooner you will be done with. it. all. !!!  :)

Yeh we may just push ahead but we need to find two people we can ask to be referees first and we need to read up on what we need to do for citizenship..

Got my decision letter/email this afternoon for my ILR, and it has been approved!!! So happy and relieved. Hopefully everyone else will see theirs soon as well. Best of luck..

Just out of curiosity do they send out/has anyone received approval letters/emails on weekends?  Or just working days ..

Fantastic news! I received my notice of acceptance yesterday! I actually started crying it was so emotional and stressful. I ran into the bedroom to tell my sleepy husband, he got really upset because he thought there was bad news. NO, all good!

Mine was for ILR-M, I applied on May 14th on the website and used the app on Aug.27th if that helps anyone.

I have a question, I want to immediately start working on Dual Citizenship and have searched the forum before but always get threads from years and years ago. How do I find current threads about it so I can get some help? I've read through the booklet they have online and already feel a bit confused...referees? who and why? Evidence of ILR, is that just the email? and am I going for "AN Naturalization"? You see?  Please advise anyone, I don't want to get scolded for starting new threads that clog things up.
