IDV App Info - for Applications Reusing Biometrics

Yea at this rate I am now hoping I hear back before Christmas because it honestly doesnt feel like its going to be soon. I have just tried to stay distracted but work will be ending next month and my distractions will run out so I do hope its soon

Did you go over the 8 weeks from when you submitted via the app? It will be 9 weeks since biometrics for me on Thursday and I am getting really nervous I will never hear back at this rate I applied in May.

Yup, I only just heard back last Wednesday, so it went over 8 weeks!

Applied FLR(M) May 18, Submitted docs in July, asked to resubmit Part 2 of declarations a couple weeks later, IDV App on Aug 27, called help desk for it being out of service standard last Wednesday. Now to wait for the BRP but this is such a relief.

I hope this means everyone else still waiting from early in the pandemic will have theirs this week or next!

Congratulations margo!

I received my BRP this morning, the person who delivered it rang the intercom and my husband had to go down to pick it up in person.

It took exactly 1 week/ 5 working days.

We received the BRP this morning by courier, we were not asked to sign anything it was just put through the letter box. so now we are jumping straight back into it all and are applying for Citizenship this week.  We just want this done..  good luck to all still waiting, hope you get good news soon.

Wow, congratulations to everyone who received their much awaited approval and also BRP's.

I just hope the rest of you who haven't heard anything from UKVI will get their results soon, hang in there lovelies... as they say there's always a light at the end of the tunnel. God bless us all and always stay safe.

I am still thinking about ways to safely combine and share our stories to hopefully improve service standards and communication from the home office. There was no reason for this to be such a long wait or for there to be a black hole on finding the status of a pending application. I feel like everyone getting their decision is the most important thing, and then joining up to push for change. I would encourage calling the line for "outside the service standard" if you're able and stress the problems not having your visa is causing so they can send it to the application team and give a call reference number.

I tried calling one of the numbers given but the person I spoke to said they cant do anything as they dont work in the same department I dont know if I pushed the wrong button somewhere but they were completely unhelpful hopefully we will all hear back soon so we can focus on the holiday seasons coming up
