IDV App Info - for Applications Reusing Biometrics

Ah! I just got my approval email!!!

Applied FLR(M) May 18, Submitted docs in July, asked to resubmit Part 2 of declarations a couple weeks later, IDV App on Aug 27, called help desk for it being out of service standard last Wednesday. Now to wait for the BRP but this is such a relief.

I hope this means everyone else still waiting from early in the pandemic will have theirs this week or next!

I tried calling one of the numbers given but the person I spoke to said they cant do anything as they dont work in the same department I dont know if I pushed the wrong button somewhere but they were completely unhelpful hopefully we will all hear back soon so we can focus on the holiday seasons coming up

I called 0300 123 2241 and selected the options for applications within the UK and the "outside the service standard" choice. They did not offer up contacting the application team, I told them I was concerned that there may be something wrong with my app and they missed receiving the document they asked for, and that my mental health could not cope without some confirmation it really is processing. Then they said they could escalate it. Its like customer service anywhere, you have to stand your ground because they've been instructed to do as little as possible.

Congrats Margo and all those who have received their approval emails recently!
It's great to see this progress and gives us all a glimmer of hope.
(We applied April 15 and did the app on Aug 25.)

Got my email this morning! I immediately melted into a puddle of relief. Timeline:

Online application for FLR(M) 4 June
Biometrics submitted via app 28 August
Approval email 29 October

So nearly nine weeks from biometrics to decision. I was going to give them until November before I tried calling and escalating it, but I'm relieved I didn't have to deal with that mess. Such a weight off my shoulders! Now I can kick back until ILR (yikes).

Just an update... I got my ILR approval email this morning! I am so relieved!! To everyone waiting- I know this is a difficult time, but just keep the faith and remain patient. It'll come through! Try not to think about it and keep busy with other things!

I applied July 22nd, received the email that we weren't eligible for the app a couple weeks later, in person biometrics in Nottingham was August 27th. My husband's in the British Army, so our application form was a little different (SET-AF).

AWESOME STUFF! Congratulations on the approvals and those that have their BRP cards.
