I uploaded my documents a long time ago on my computer in my UKVCAS account.

Today I logged into the app, it automatically synced with all the data in my account so all documents were already there. I just had to take a picture of my face, my passport, and press submit. Took less than 5 minutes.
Thanks for your thoughts. You make it sound super easy.

Awesome news. I had a feeling that the uploaded documents prior to logging into this app would automatically sync down. it would be really stupid to ask applicants to upload all the scanned documents again.

Here's to seeing some fast paced movement on processing applications now and that 4,000 target is hit.

The app is available to download either way, you just need to wait for the invite email to be able to login and access whatever you need to access.

Good news! Just finished using the App and have clicked Submit!
I applied online on April 15.
Got the app invite email last night.
So, this morning...
Logged in using email address, UKVCAS password... It comes up with your name and there are two main sections - Documents and ID Verification.
It showed in the Document section that all my docs were already there.
For the ID Verification bit, you have to take a photo using the app. Quite easy.
After that they do a "liveness" check where you move your head around while the app records... (!)
Then you take a photo of your BRP... review and submit.
It's very easy to use. (By the way, I recommend that you watch the helpful video in advance, as it shows you the steps. You find the video link in the FAQ section on the UKVCAS website.)
NOW the next stage of waiting begins. I will post when there is any progress.
Good luck everyone!

Not sure how does UKVI works, just saw this comment and amused now! I submitted my application on 1st April, but till now no email, also not able to login in the app, through my UKVCAS Credentials. Not able to figure out, on what basis actually they are sending the invitations!

Oh dear that's not fair.
Before I got the email I did make an attempt to log onto the app, but it would not work.
After the email no problem.
I sincerely hope you get the email soon.

I uploaded all my documents to UKVCAS in April but it wouldn’t let me hit submit due to no biometrics appointments. Now I have the app and see my documents, anyone thinking they should add more bank statements and payslips to cover the several months since the first application? We are in the same place financially if not a bit better but anxiety.

Your documents should be as of the date of the application and no later. Since they haven’t asked for ‘filler’ documents for the past few months, I don’t plan on sending anything not specifically asked for.

Technically all documents are meant to be dated on or before the date of the application up to 28 days before the application. I imagine this will just confuse them, or worse generate a refusal because all the documents submitted aren’t dated within the prior 28 days of the application.

Maybe other more seasoned veterans have other thoughts though.
