20 weeks tomorrow since application submission, 9 weeks since id verification via the app and still crickets. Did confirm via Twitter dm that the correct uan and documents were submitted to ukvi on the day I thought they were.
Yea I have been waiting 24 weeks since submitting and 11 weeks today since app biometrics. I didnt know you can contact them via twitter do they just confirm the day you submitted the application or when it was done via the app?

I provided the UAN via DM on Twitter (@UKVCAS) and they replied saying it had been successfully delivered and the date (which matched the date I did the id verification. It will have to do since I refuse to pay to use the help line only to be told I have to wait. They really need to figure out how to incorporate tracking into their system to ease the mental anguish of just not knowing.

I just heard back--hurrah! My heart actually sank when I opened the email (for fear my application had been refused). I am surprised you all didn't hear my gasp and shout all the way from North London. You can take the woman out of New Jersey, but you can't take the New Jersey out of the woman!

Many thanks to everyone who talked me off the ledge during this LONG process.

Now I can use lockdown to work on my passport and citizenship application.

Oh this is such happy news!!!

Now hoping everyone else hears soon.

I would really like to put together a formal letter to the home office and our MP's describing the mental health toll this process has taken. If it's this bad for us, I can only imagine how unbearable it is for refugees and asylum seekers. *sigh*

And yes, I am hoping that this will be a good week for those who are still waiting. As each person gets approved, that opens up a space for the next person.

I thought I would try the twitter account for my wife's application since the Biometrics was done over 8 weeks ago now. It came back pretty quick but just to confirm that the Biometrics was uploaded ok but that we should check with UKVI for more details about why it's delayed. I guess they need those phone charge fees.

This is the number to contact UKVI from within the UK. 0300 numbers are charged like regular, geographic numbers and are included with many plans.

Quote
UK Visas and Immigration contact centre
Telephone: 0300 123 2241
Monday to Thursday, 9am to 4:45pm
Friday, 9am to 4:30pm

Not sure how much use it is to call in the first place but they are not premium rate numbers.

Congrats TM Sutton on your email approval! Always happy to see forum members approved.
We applied online on April 15 and did the app on Aug 25. Still no email. :(
Just wondering... how many March and April folks are still out there in the wilderness with us?

Really sorry to hear about you two March applicants still waiting. Not fair!!!
It does seem they are picking up steam on early applicants so let's hope you hear soon. Fridays seem to come with a flurry of approvals... My fingers are crossed for you both and all other early applicants.
