My husband's BRP arrived this morning, 4 days after the approval. We're still getting used to *not* worrying, this has been such a drawn out stressful process for so many people. Keeping my fingers crossed for those still waiting, especially everyone from March and April. This thread has been helpful and reassuring throughout the year, I'm not really one to post much but want to thank everyone who  contributes to the forum. Whenever I've had a query I've found information that has been very helpful with our applications.

Hi all,

Our Timeline:

Submitted our online application on June the 15th. Submitted the biometrics via the app on the 9th of September.

Visa approval email on the 11th of November. Now just waiting for them to send the biometrics card  :)

Oh and my last payslip had a furlough salary on it. Was furloughed on 1st of May. So apparently that is acceptable. I know they already said it was but nice to have an approval to confirm it.

I am - March 28th completed application. Biometrics via app august 26th. Seeing other people accepted months after I submitted  is indeed infuriating at this point. (Although I am happy that you all are getting accepted :)!!)

I've applied in August and still waiting to hear back.

I think those that are waiting need to realise that it'll be around Christmas time before they hear anything back. Well, that's what I have in my mind.

Yes, it's heart sinking to see the approvals of others, but I take comfort from that knowing that there are people who have had approvals & that the HO are not just sat on their backsides counting down the days to Christmas and New Year.

Let's stay positive, look out for one another and take care of our health, mentally and physically. The approval will come, just don't go killing your health over it.

You are legally still in the country and can't be kicked out, so that's a positive. Always think that there "could" be someone else in a worse position than us.

I absolutely agree--it is so difficult to keep waiting when you see those who applied after you receive their approvals. But with each approval, that means there is one more person out of the way (and out of YOUR) way. That's my glass half full attempt, anyway. Stay optimistic!

Yea I am thankful that they do seem to be making progress on gettin applications done made throughout the year.

Personally I just think they should of kept to their word in date order as I believe it is most fair. Thats just my opinion but to any of us waiting no matter how long it is still an excruciating wait and we all deserve to get a response.

I do hope a good majority of us all waiting months hear back before the holidays as no one wants to go into the holiday season with this hovering over them. I do take comfort I am not alone in this process and thankfully the obstacles that I have found myself in because of the delays I have been able to overcome I am just getting to the point now where I would just like to know already.

Just going to keep wishing us all the best of luck

This is the number to contact UKVI from within the UK. 0300 numbers are charged like regular, geographic numbers and are included with many plans.

Not sure how much use it is to call in the first place but they are not premium rate numbers.

My wife called the number and they told her to call back in 2 weeks once lockdown 2 is over. The person on the phone said they're only escalating for emergency cases.
