Yea I am thankful that they do seem to be making progress on gettin applications done made throughout the year.

Personally I just think they should of kept to their word in date order as I believe it is most fair. Thats just my opinion but to any of us waiting no matter how long it is still an excruciating wait and we all deserve to get a response.

I do hope a good majority of us all waiting months hear back before the holidays as no one wants to go into the holiday season with this hovering over them. I do take comfort I am not alone in this process and thankfully the obstacles that I have found myself in because of the delays I have been able to overcome I am just getting to the point now where I would just like to know already.

Just going to keep wishing us all the best of luck

Hang in there! I really do hope you hear back in this month so you can look forwards to just relaxing and enjoy Christmas with family and friends. Well virtually, via Zoom, Facetime etc if you are not allowed to visit other households.

I've got other stresses on at the moment which is keeping me occupied and this is at the back of my mind, some days it crops to the front of my mind and then I get really stressed, I've just let it play out now, I will hear from them some day - I'm just hoping it's before the Xmas holidays. Anything before that is a bonus.

Hang in there. Feel free to private message me if you ever want to talk or de-stress.

The home office really do need to look at improving the way they work with applications, at the moment it's been chaos, and with COVID19 it seems there has not been any structures put into place.

So west Scotland goes into full lockdown again this Friday. Which got me thinking (which I didn’t before) whether people doing our applications are classed as essential jobs down in England...?

Have people been getting approvals while England has been in their lockdown...?

...sorry if a dumb question!

Yes, we have had several approvals in the last couple of weeks.

And yes, UKVCAS is considered an essential service and biometrics appointments are being offered as normal, with visas being processed as normal as well.

See here: https://www.ukvcas.co.uk/flash-message-detail?flashmessageId=74833

From that page:

Quote
UKVCAS is fully operational throughout the lockdown
UKVCAS has ‘Essential Service’ status and our staff are seen as key workers. As a result, UKVCAS Service Points are open and will remain open throughout the lockdown period.

This means that if you’ve booked an appointment during November, you can still travel to the UKVCAS Service Point so you can submit your application to UKVI.

Yes, they are essential workers, so they will continue processing applications, we've had a number of approvals since we went into lockdown again. Good luck with your application!

Those are required documents, you need to provide them. Do you not have the files saved from when you scanned and then uploaded them?

They will need to be mailed to you by your bank, or printed online and then stamped by the bank to confirm authenticity. You have to meet the standards for documents, and I would explain why they are dated today instead of prior to your application. I don't understand why you deleted and shredded documents prior to receiving your visa, that makes no sense to me especially as you previously posted that you were thinking of cancelling it and doing some emergency travel, but you can't change what has been done.

Just keep panacking :(

Shall I tell them they will need to wait for me to get it for them as Banks are closed. I cant provide anything till next week.

But why are they even asking for them again i already  sent them :(

I am fearing the worst
