I am so sorry for your loss it must be such a relief to know you can go home . My father passed away this year and I can understand totally feeling trapped . Hoping all goes smooth and you get home also congratulations on your visa being approved

There’s an online form to fill out for a change of address: https://visa-address-update.service.gov.uk/. I did this back in November when we moved, after having applied in July. Got my decision/approval in December but never received my BRP. They’ve only just emailed me in January with confirmation that the change of address has been processed, so it took them 2 months. Since this came after my decision, I’m sure they sent the BRP to the old address.

There’s another form to fill out once it’s been 10 working days and you’ve not received your BRP. In the automated reply, it says:

If you have changed address since making your application and did not inform us you will need to make contact with your previous address to obtain your BRP, or you will need to report it lost and apply for a replacement BRP here: https://www.gov.uk/biometric-residence-permits/not-arrived.

Was wondering if there has been any recent stats of approvals for SET(M) applications submitted in September?

Most ILR approvals seem to be for SET(O) that I can see.

We submitted ours mid September. Contacted UKVI email to see if they can provide any update, but they just told us the processing times are 6 months.

Hopefully they'll start picking SET(M) a bit more now.

For everyone who has received the email about having their biometrics reused and are choosing to use the new app, I figured I would start a new thread for our timelines.

Has anyone received an invite to the IDV app yet and used it? What was your experience?

I applied in May, received the email giving the option to opt out of the app on July 31st, and I'm still waiting to receive the invite to use the new app. Looks like the people who opted out are getting to schedule their biometrics already, so I am hoping people have gotten the app as well!

I just wanted to add myself on this thread so I can follow others as well. I applied with my biometrics for my third FLRM visa 25 Nov 20. I have yet to hear a reply as of yet. Just keeping tabs as the approvals come in and I will post mine. I did mine in Edinburgh.

The IDV app was 'retired' in late September 2020 and only Tier 4 applicants have been allowed to use it since then.

So, everyone else who has applied/booked biometrics since late September has been required to attend an in-person appointment.

Well I just got the shock of a lifetime as my ILR was approved! Wasn’t expecting the decision for another month or so based on dates for recent approvals in this thread!

Online app: 25/9/20
In person biometrics: 7/10/20
Approval email: 22/1/21
