Employment letter for FLR (M)
« on: September 23, 2020, 01:50:34 PM »
Quick question re: Employment Letter.

When I ask my company for an Employment Letter, is there a certain requirement who needs to sign and date the letter?

I work for a large company but during COVID I only really have direct access to my Production Manager as 95% of the company is now working from home.

Would an Employment Letter be acceptable if it was signed by my Production Manager or does it need to be someone from HR?

Thanks everyone!

The guidance just says it needs to be: "A letter from the employer(s) who issued the payslips"... It doesn't specify who in the company needs to write it.

Most people either have the letter written by their line manager or by their HR department, depending on how their company operates. In some cases their only option is a letter from HR, in others, they can ask their manager.
