No idea what D&V is but I agree with you that the guidance is very confusing now.

Our daughter is visiting from LA and since it has been years since she last saw many of her close relatives we have been out visiting (currently in Edinburgh) and were due to visit my wife’s brother and his family this coming weekend on our way to Barcelona. (The last time she was in England was in London with us and her brother). However, her aunt tested positive on Sunday so we said we had to skip seeing them just in case. Since then her aunt has been sick enough to be in bed and now her uncle has symptoms and is testing positive.  Hopefully they won’t get too sick as they have all been boosted, but you have got to feel for them because one of their daughters is seriously I’ll in hospital and she can no longer visit her.

Enjoy her visit durhamlad, it must be a while since you saw her too?

We last saw her in November, 2019 so it has been over 2 years.  It has been good seeing her again.

D & V is diarrhoea and vomiting!

I’m so sorry to hear so many of your family members have been knocked down. It’s such a weird virus. I hope everyone remains as fit and well as possible!

In random news I have my second antibody test on Saturday.  Will be interesting to see how things “look” after 4 weeks.

Uggh, sorry you've got Covid Jimbo. Everyone's got it, had it recently, will have it shortly.  Sorry it was on such an important day though!!  Hope you're not feeling too rubbish!!!
Thanks, I’m still fine.  Funny thing is that yesterday the line on the test was so faint, but this morning the positive line showed up in 30 seconds and was darker than any I’ve ever seen.

Thanks for doing the right thing, seeing on twitter that people are still taking vacations if they test positive, travelling on public transport to get there, is just terrifying.

I could completely see the temptation if you were scheduled for a holiday and then tested positive.  Come to think of it, maybe that did happen to us last Christmas.  We were planning to go to France for Chrstmas and then my daughter got a positive test, but of course we never would have gone.  I think the decision was taken out of our hands by a bin lorry that destroyed my car.

My turn! Had the most wretched lupus flare this past weekend.  No wonder.

My sister has lupus and had nasty flare ups both times she caught Covid. The vaccinations don’t seem to trigger a reaction for some reason, although with the booster, she came home, fell asleep in her recliner and woke up 16 hours later.

Lord knows I can suggest TV shows if you need ideas.

I'm finally watching Orange is the New Black and loving it.  SO MANY EPISODES, it's going to take a long time to work through it!

I’m in Italy right now and they are very serious about masking and COVID.  FFP2 masks are required everywhere and there is no concept of exemption.  Every shop, every bus.  If you forget to put one on they remind you immediately.
