Thanks. They're out there. 2018 seems to be the year of the big 'tech' shift though. The base models of the Soul don't have much at all. The 2016 Fiesta had nada.  The 2018(? I forget now) Note (with the dead battery) had minimal stuff - it did come with backup camera and sat-nav. I rather like the sat-nav feature....

We'll see. At least I don't have to rush into it. Perhaps all the new car sales will help us out, with the trade-ins needing to be sold.  8) I can wait.

Nan, I think you should go with a Cadillac.  Especially if it’ll be your last car.  My mom got one this year and she never knew she could love a car.

My grandpa bought his last car when he was 80 and he went with a fully loaded, top of the range Ford Mustang in a gorgeous bright blue.  He refused to have his disabled badge on display until he parked.  And then would get out of his race car with two canes.  He was a bad ass!  ;D
