Draft FLR check list
« on: November 16, 2020, 08:57:37 PM »
Hi,

Thanks to everyone here for their help so far. It's so nice to see it's still such a vibrant community after 2 years.

I hope to fill out the application form tomorrow, 17th November. Please have a look at my list of supporting documents and let me know if I need anything else. It is for my wife.

Application documents
- Wife passport (scanned every single page from start to end)
- Consent forms (part of the online application form)

Q. What is a sponsor declaration form? Is that part of the online form?

Travel history/proof of Identity
- Scan of Wife's BRP (front and back)
- Scan of every page of my passport (its empty because its a new passport issued about a month ago)

Finances
- Payslips covering April to October (27th October latest)
- Bank statements covering April to October (7th Oct latest)
- Letter from employer dated 9th November confirming:
  • Job status - permanent
  • Job title
  • Employment start date
  • Base salary
  • National insurance number
  • All the pay increases and dates i've had over the employment so far
  • A statement saying "all the payslips are provided through an online portal and not individually stamped.
- Signed letter of employment (it was an online contract)
- P60 April 2019/2020

Residence in the UK
Accomodation:
- Tenancy agreement (recently completed) dated 14th November. It's a 42 page, double sided document, so i've just added the page that requires our signatures.
- Council Tax (recently changed to mine and my wife's name) dated 11th November

Cohabitation - Opted for 3-month spacing instead of 4 months as that works better for us
October 2020: (Wife and me) Joint bank statement
July 2020: (Wife) NHS letter. (Me) Bank statement
April 2020: (Wife) Gas bill. (Me) Bank statement
January 2020:(Wife) Gas bill. (Me) Bank statement
October 2020: (Wife) Gas bill. (Me) City Council letter
July 2019: (Wife) Gas bill. (Me) DVLA car tax reminder
April 2019: (Wife) Gas bill. (Me) Admiral car insurance no-claims bonus letter
January 2019: (Wife) Gas bill. (Me) Bank statement

Slightly outside the pattern:
October 2018: Wife: Gas bill, September 2018: (Me) Confirmation letter of resignation from old job

Other
- Marriage certificate

What are the dates in April for your payslip and bank statement?  Do they show the same six FULL months?

Are the applicant and sponsor both named in the tenancy agreement?

9/1/2013 - "fiancée" (marriage) visa issued
4/6/2013 - married (certificate issued same-day)
5/6/2013 - FLR(M)#1 in person -- approved!
8/1/2016 - FLR(M)#2 by post -- approved!
8/5/2018 - ILR in person -- approved!
22/11/2018 - Citizenship (online, with NDRS+JCAP) -- approved!
14/12/2018 - I became a British citizen.  :)

27th April 2020 is the payslip date (27th of every month).
8 April to 7 May 2020 is the April bank statement date.

Do I need to go one pay slip and one bank statement further back still? In my April payslip I had a salary bonus as well. I'm wondering if I need that stated in my employment letter.

Also, finally, are you aware of the sponsor declaration form? is that part of the online application? or do I have to write a letter like I did for the first visa?

So your payslips go from 27 April to 27 October... that's six full months.  You're good there.

Your most recent bank statement is dated 7 October.  What's the end date of that statement? Does it show the most recent payslip?

The sponsor does not need to write a sponsor letter for FLR(M).  There is a declaration within the application that the sponsor will need to sign, but there's no additional letter required.  I believe the declaration will be generated when  the application is submitted.
