Hi there, we are waiting for our second stimulus check for $600 which was mailed to us in the UK on 6th January as per the IRS website.  I was just wondering if anybody on the same timeline has received their checks yet?  Thanks!

I'm on the same timeline and I have not received my check in the post.  I actually caught it on the "get my stimulus" checker on the fifth, so the status was already up before it was sent.  I have no way of verifying that it went out as planned... there's been no change in the checker, but no money has arrived here, either.

My second stimulus was supposedly mailed the 6th too, no sign of it yet. :( First was direct deposited so this is annoying!

The UK addresses are formatted terribly. My last check took nearly 2 months after it said it was mailed and I suspect it was because of the address.

Payments of the Stimulus checks by the IRS seem to be totally random. I have twin daughters who both filed & mailed their 2019 tax returns (to the same IRS address) on the same day. 1st daughter got her 1st stimulus payment in December - 2nd daughter has received nothing yet and 'Get My Payment'  shows status not available. Get My Payment shows no information for their 2nd checks - just left waiting - which probably means they have to claim via a Rebate Credit on their 2020 tax returns - I guess that's an incentive to get them done quickly!

Very frustrating..... ::)

My first check was mailed to my old UK address since they followed 2018 tax return. Luckily redirect caught it and I was able to send in a change of address form to the IRS. I was worried that this second check may have been misdelivered to my old address again, but seems like others with a Jan 6th mail out haven't gotten it either. I'll stay hopeful we all get it soon!

99% done with 2020 taxes, just awaiting a 1099-INT. The tax prep software prompted information about the 1st and 2nd stimulus payment, (didn't received the 1st as didn't qualify - SSN/ITIN and MFJ). I did get the $600 for the 2nd stimulus though early this month. I've been credited a $1,200 tax credit for the initial stimulus, I guess as I have a SSN they changed retroactively the eligibility criteria, despite my spouse only having an ITIN and thus making us both ineligible for any payment whatsoever back in the Spring. Well pleased i'll get a payment after all. I'm sure as the tax prep software is updated this will become common across all platforms.

Mine is like all the others who when checking the IRS website says it was mailed on the 6th of Jan. Since my Christmas card from my parents took over 4 week to get to me from Massachusetts.. I'm just TRYING to wait patiently for it to show up through my letterbox. :)

Oooh, exciting!  I'll have my husband keep an eye out for mine, now!

(edit to add: He intercepts all the post and either Dettols it or holds it in quarantine for a few days while I'm shielding... getting close to a year, now.)

Ahhh!  I think I just heard the post, but I'm not able to get to it to see if I have my check.  I have to wait about 3 more hours for my husband to get home and let me know.  Since I didn't get my Stimulus 1.0 (obviously I'll be requesting it when I file my 2020 tax return), this $600 is really exciting to me.  My first stimulus payment... ever!
