Spousal Visa Extension queries Final Questions
« on: March 25, 2021, 11:55:48 AM »
Hello there,

I hope everyone is well. I had a final question regarding the document list and timing. My wife and I have done our application and have our Biometrics meeting set up for the 12th of April. All of our documents are correct up to the time we did our application. However, by the time we have our Biometrics meeting, I will have received a new payslip. Should I include this new payslip and bank statement to cover this?

Thank you in advance for your help.

Kind Regards,

Samson

No, you do not need to include any payslips or bank statements dated after the date you applied online.

The clock stops on the date you submit the online application, as that is your official application date, so you just have to show that you met all the requirements on that date... which means that no payslips or bank statements issued after you applied online can be considered for the application.

SUCCESS!!!!

I just wanted to let you know that our visa has gone through as my wife has been granted her second visa. If anyone is wondering this time was quicker than last. We applied and paid the fees, waited 2 and half weeks for the biometrics, and then it was only 5 days before we got the approval. Not sure if they are getting quicker or if we were just lucky. I just wanted to say a massive thank you for all the help on here. You are all the best for helping people through this time and myself and my wife are extremely grateful.

Congratulations!  That was quick!  And now it's one less thing to worry about for a while.  Just remember to keep saving your post for ILR in a couple of years, and try to enjoy life for a bit.
9/1/2013 - "fiancée" (marriage) visa issued
4/6/2013 - married (certificate issued same-day)
5/6/2013 - FLR(M)#1 in person -- approved!
8/1/2016 - FLR(M)#2 by post -- approved!
8/5/2018 - ILR in person -- approved!
22/11/2018 - Citizenship (online, with NDRS+JCAP) -- approved!
14/12/2018 - I became a British citizen.  :)
