We had our FLR Biometrics appointment on May 6th in Sheffield.  Not heard anything yet, so maybe they’ve stopped doing the 5 day turnarounds for now... ;D

Whoohoo well done! My biometric appointment is june 5 (4 weeks after submission date) and actually the date my visa expires. So nerve wracking. Let us know when you get your answer! Would love to know what the turn around is:)

To give you an idea, my wife had her biometrics on 06th May and just got her approval email today so 8 days for us. Also reading some of the other turnaround times, it seems to be between 1-3 weeks. Looks like they have might have gone through the backlog and back to reasonable processing times, all the best, hope its quick !

Oooo, same day as us!  I wonder if that means our decision is imminent.  We had a 7.30pm appointment so if they’re doing it in order of submission, then might be later today or tomorrow.  :)

What was your application date?  Ours was 12th April.

We submitted our application on the 7th April . To be honest we were thinking around 3-4 weeks turnaround so this was a pleasant surprise . Hope you get your decision soon !

Did you get your decision back? How long did it take? X waiting on ours and hoping it's not too much longer.

Yeah, we got our email approval on May 20th, so 10 working days from our May 6th biometrics.  The BRP card showed up the following week.

I get the feeling we were very fortunate to get a fast turnaround going by what others are reporting.

Did you do standard processing or did you pay extra?

I had my bio metrics appointment on 9th of June, and did the standard processing as I didn't want to pay the extra £800.

Standard here also - we did get the option for Super Priority, but we decided that it wasn’t really worth it as it’s not exactly as if we were putting anything on hold until we got our decision.

I’ll certainly do Super Priority for ILR when the time comes - 6 months seems a bit too long.

Hope you get your approval soon!  :)

Wow! Thats super fast.  It's been 10 working days since my biometrics and no answer yet.  However, I know that the average is 8-12 weeks for a decision, so I am not expecting anything until August.  I just wish we are as lucky as you!

Ah, well done!

20 working days isn’t a bad turnaround time at all - half of the 8 weeks they lead you to expect.

Congrats!  :)
