That's pretty annoying!  From the article: "She said the main messages were to respect the area, not to leave litter and not to park overnight where it would inconvenience residents."   I assume that means that when they come down for a rugby game they won't need to park?  As someone who lives within a stone's throw of the stadium and is very used to our entire street used as a parking lot every game, I have earned the right to park wherever the hell I want when I go somewhere else.  And I might just take a leak in your garden as well since everyone thinks it is OK to pee all over the place when they get here.

There was a pub I used to frequent with some work mates and the first time we went I was told we were going because they served single malt in 1/4 gill measures (as opposed to a 1/5 gill elsewhere in Dumfries and 1/6 gill in England). However I was told the pub was a bit rough, and the only way to tell the difference between the men and women was that the women took the cigarette out of their mouth before spitting.

LOL... the quarter-gill pubs are always a bit like that!  [smiley=laugh4.gif]

I just got done herding sheep on a quad bike!  We thought we'd entertain the kids by paying for an hour riding but we ended up helping the farmer move a bunch of sheep into a different field.
He also had an awesome sheepdog we got to watch working.

That sounds like brilliant fun for both adults and kids.

Riding around on a quad bike is fun, but doing it with purpose sounds like even more fun!  Kind of game-ifying the already fun activity.  But since you were working, did you still have to pay?  ;)

No, thank God.  Afterwards we had a cheeky picnic near the farmhouse, and when the lady cam out to find out what the hell we were doing we sweet talked her a bit.  She offered for us to help feed the orphaned baby sheep with bottles which was too cute for words.  I learned that crows peck the eyes out of baby sheep!
