Hi guys!

Just wondering if there’s anyone here who’s applied in May with Standard processing and got their decision recently ???

I know it’s taking 8-12 weeks for uncomplicated applications.

We submitted our application on the last week of May and did the biometrics on the first week of June so I know I still have some time to wait.  Just wondering if there are any lucky ones out there  ;D

I'm happy to report that I arrived in the UK on 1/7, the very first day of my entry vignette.    YEEAAHHHHHH.   We did use priority service.

Biometrics - May 17th
Decision made  - June 26th

Just a heads up to you, DIllah, and anyone else who might read this -

i did not receive a "decision made" email until about 2 days after the decision had been made. I only found out about it slightly sooner because I was tracking the UPS label I prepaid for and checking it every day.

This nearly messed up our timeline significantly because we had VERY difficult timing with importing my dog and all the vet and paperwork requirements that come with that, so I wanted to give anyone else a heads up in case they are eagerly waiting on the email.  It may not come promptly, and I was not prepared for that.

Also worth noting that I got a 3 month entry vignette on my passport.  Not sure if that's the new norm or a covid measure.

Thanks for the heads up.

Luckily for me I am already here but still so nerve wracking waiting for the decision.

Biometrics : 9th of June

Thank God 🙏

My questions is I have some refund I think for the nhs charge I have paid for my work visa as it’s valid till March 2022.  Would I be able to apply for a refund ?

Yes, I think you should be able to claim a refund for the NHS surcharge.

By my math I got my decision (priority) on the 28th working day after biometrics.  Congrats Dillah, and good luck to those of you still waiting.  We all feel your pain.

Yes good luck all!

Today I received an email from TNT ( fed ex ) that they will deliver between 8am - 8 pm.

Then at 1005 am I received a text message from post office they’ve missed me.

Is it the same people ?  Is the BRP card would be delivered by post office.

I literally went out for 15 mins to take my baby to the child minder.

I am tracking it through TNT it’s still saying will be delivered between 8 am and 8 pm.

I can  for redelivery from the post office parcel but not sure if this my BRP card or not.

It’s never easy  ???

BRP comes through one carrier.  Other documents through Royal Mail.  Just to keep them separate so not all lost or stolen at the same time.  So you likely missed the return of your documents from Royal Mail.  BRP should still be coming.  :)
