Free Amazon training (Hey Margo)
« on: August 19, 2021, 08:41:18 AM »

Just heard that Amazon is offering a free 12 week full time course in cloud stuff.  Thought about @margo .  Am I wrong but have we not heard from Margo for a while?

Thanks. :) Will definitely check this out.

Have been laying low and not doing the greatest. I'd been volunteering for a while, but the "chair" of the org was a disorganised bully and kept intentionally triggering my PTSD. Amazing for a patient advocacy group eh? So been trying to recover from that.

This is for unemployed and under employed folks. There's lots of AWS training out there though, and given you are employed they should pay for it.

Sadly it's not an option for me, too disabled for full time study.

Ah i didn't actually click on the link yet, just assumed it was an open thing. Fair enough! It's encouraged to get my cert even as a PM so i thought i'd get a head start while there wasn't as much pressure.

Definitely a good skillset to have though to be fair
