Totally see how that would be annoying. Just for convenience for you, feed poll should cost less than £100… just so you can weigh up if it’s worth it so you can do mail in…

I'm not entirely sure how that would work as her name is not actually changing. Plus, it's more expense.

We need to go to the embassy anyway for our daughter's CRBA it's just tying the two together on the same day which seems harder than the vaccination roll out!

Woohoo. Managed to get a CRBA for next week. Gonna ask while I'm there if they could 'squeeze in' a passport application. Can't see us being lucky with that request, however.

They will very likely allow the piggy back if asked nicely.

Is this where her name has a middle initial instead of the full name?  I was thinking you were doing something more complicated. I imagine it will be super easy and was a case of “computer says no” and someone not thinking.  ;)

Haha yes that's it. We now have her birth certificate which arrived surprisingly fast from the states. Hoping they let us tag on especially as our CBRA is pretty early at 9:00am (I understand this is the time we start 'waiting' from).

Actually no!

You can go ANYTIME. They won’t hold you if early and will let you in if late. It’s just to try to space out appointments. I wouldn’t deliberately arrive in the afternoon as CRBA appointments are only in the morning.  But they just check you HAVE an appointment and let you in.  So if you are early, go on and I’m certain they’ll let you in.

Woohoo managed to get a passport appointment on the same day as the CRBA.

Now the fun of trying to find somewhere to park...in London.
