Residence evidence - ILR Set(M)

Hopefully my last questions before my ILR biometrics appointment on Saturday!

I'm just pulling together all of the post from the last 2.5 years. Two questions:

1) The ILR document checklist that I downloaded after submitting my online application says 6 documents covering 2.5 years. But....that's 7 documents, right?! I'm not going crazy??

2) More concerningly, my husband hasn't received any post from official sources this month! The only thing I can find is a shipping invoice for a parcel that he received - it's got his name, our address, and the date of shipping (October, which is what we need). Will this be sufficient, even though it's not from an official source? Everything else is bank statements, council tax bill, phone bill, etc. And technically, the official checklist doesn't say "official sources"....

Technically the requirement is only 6 documents, but we usually recommend including 7 documents, so that you cover both the beginning and the end of the 2.5 years... otherwise, your last document will be dated 5 months before you apply.

The sources do need to be official (unfortunately the checklist is a bit vague and doesn't include everything/all the details that you actually need to send).

However, since this is the 7th document, and not technically required (as you only officially need 6 documents), you have a couple of options:
1) include the shipping invoice and write a cover note explaining that he does not have anything official from this month so you are uploading the invoice instead
or
2) include something official from September instead and write a cover note explaining that he has not received anything in October

Got it, thanks so much ksand24! I can't find anything from September either (has he gone paperless without telling me?!?!) so option 1 it is.

Wild that the checklist isn't actually thorough enough to get you the visa/settlement...
