WFH and wet signatures from HR
« on: October 29, 2021, 09:10:51 AM »
Hi everyone,

Happy Halloween! Has anyone applied recently that can please shed some slight on whether or not documents sent from home via email suffice now from our company? I work for a massive corporation who have no HR in the office to send out a proper letter confirming the information I need. I could print them out at work and have a manager sign them, but I’m not sure what else I can do.

Any advice is so so appreciated. Thank you

I just answered in your other thread.

A digital signature on a letter sent by email should be fine if they are working from home due to Covid. Lots of people have had to use digitally-signed employer letters in the last 1.5 years because of WFH and all their visas were granted without issue.

Confirming what Ksand24 just said, my wife and I recently applied and were accepted (June 2021) with an emailed form from her HR.  The HR person did print and then sign and scan, so it looked just like a wet ink signature.   Wasn't questioned at all.
