I never got a final stimulus payment...I filed in June 2021. Too soon to hope?

I filed my 2020 taxes in June and used a Wise account to receive payment. Still nothing in it. How long does it take?

My preparation software put an incorrect figure on line 30, (to low). Although I efiled it had taken 2 months for the IRS to ACH the refund into my bank account. I'd check IRS2Go and see what it says, it was helpful in my circumstances.

I have yet to file my 2020 taxes (I know know - long & complicated story  ) but received an advice letter a couple of weeks ago from The White House telling me the 3rd stimulus was on its' way. The IRS website https://www.irs.gov/coronavirus/get-my-payment gives an up to date status - my check was apparently mailed on 10/1/2021 (October 1) but nothing in the mail yet (I'm in the UK)

I got a letter today saying they couldn't deposit in the Wise account and it will take time for them to try again, and they will mail a check if they can't do it. What a waste of time the Wise account was, then! AFter I get the check, I think I'll just close it.

Did you do a 'test deposit' into the newly created Wise account? If yes and successful, perhaps the routing and account number you gave the IRS maybe incorrect.

That's really odd - I have 3 family members who all have Wise accounts and all 3 received their stimulus payments directly into this account.

I've also set this account up as a method to receive my SS each month and the FBU in London accepted it.

Wise changed their routing and account numbers a little while ago, my routing number is now 084009519

Previously they had these:

ACH routing number 026073150
Wire routing number 026073008
