Can I pay my visa renewal fee and NHS charge with American Express?

I'll be reviewing my visa early next year.   Does anyone know if it's possible to use an American Express card to pay the renewal fee and the NHS charge?

I'm sad to say that I'm fairly sure they do not.  My wife and I applied back in May for our first visa and were not able to pay with Amex. 

We certainly would have if it had been an option, as we have a credit card with good rewards.

I just filed my FLR(M) application and was able to use American Express for the IHS and application fees.
