umm, had a long think about this subject, I'm a bit on the spartan side when it comes to gadgets (no wonder I get so little done at home!) but I just got me a handheld cordless vacuum cleaner, ideal for me as I leave crumbles where I go  ;D

Oh, and if someone's interested, go to Tchibo, they're really great for nifty stuff, they get new a product theme every week and are quickly sold out. For example, was desparately looking (one step from throwing myself from Tower Bridge) for a waffle iron and got one there. The vacuum cleaner was £11.00 from them and even looks très chic, not too bad, eh?

Yes, the company is from Germany and no, I don't get discount ...  ;)

It is!?  Really?  I find it smells a bit gross!  Just noticed that recently! (I am weird I know!)  But it's so much better then the Sainsbury's brand we used to get.

I'm under the impression they are hard to come by here... correct?

Best. Gadget. Ever. (First one on the page)

We just got ours back after being in our shipment for weeks. I love freshly ground pepper without having to do anything to get it! Talk about lazy! :)

Paper towels that spell?!  :o

But of course. I use Bounty when doing the daily crossword, even though my wife says that's cheating.

Hmmm.  Thanks for the link; reminds me of another uh, product, I own.  But I don't use it in the kitchen.  Usually.

Well, thank you for the confirmation! It was quite a hunt to track one down in the UK but as mentioned before, I got them from Tchibo, they might still have them in the 'sale' section.

They do, and it is a great site!

Only thing I don't like is that they're heart-shaped.  :-\\\\
