I was 15... and I'm still in the process of achieving it (Geophysicist).

I still do sometimes...I'm 41. My parents are really elderly now, but we still enjoy eachother's company and I'm relishing these last years of their mobility.

How old were you when you realized your biggest faults and started working on changing them?

Well, I guess I realized I was a procrastinator pretty young, maybe 15?  I really only work on it on/off and if I can put off working on it then I do.  ;)

First cell phone just about 2 years ago--age 42.

Walkman- 2 or 3. I would listen to books on tape during long car rides.

discman- I was 13 or 14, it cost $60 and I worked for $3 an hour at the time. I was so proud of buying it myself

i-pod - my dad bought me a pink mini for Christmas when I was 20.

I was only about 12 otherwise it would be very embarrassing.  I got the spring from a ball-point pen stuck in my thumb.  I had taken the pen apart and started playing with the spring.  I tried to get it out of my thumb and ended up just stretching the spring.  I was embarrassed so I hid my hand inside my coat.

How old were you when your parents stopped getting a babysitter for you and allowed you stay on your own when they went out?

Shockingly young...around 5 or 6..I had a brother who is 5 years older than me and they thought that was adequate supervision :o It wasn't, to say the least.

My first (and only, I think) blind date was when I was about 17 or 18.  We went to see ET--we never had another date after that.
