Oh snap, will do that!  I've also heard a lot of people say to cover the envelope/box with "priority" in sharpie so will be doing that as well :)

That is in the instructions for priority service. You MUST write it clearly on the package because it will be sorted into priority or non-priority before it is even opened. If it's not written on the outside they won't immediately know that it is a priority application.

From the VFS Global website:

You must write ‘Settlement Priority Service' in very large letters on the front and back of the outermost envelope of your visa application. This means the exterior UPS envelope. Please note that failure to follow this direction may result in your application not being identified and handled as priority. In addition, please ensure that you place your settlement priority service purchase receipt on top of your application documents inside your envelope.

Will probably add a sentence explaining that I have been sending Ed money for a down payment, as it will show up in his bank statements.

Definitely mention this. It's excellent relationship evidence.  :)
I would also put it in the shared financial responsibilities section, as in you are both responsible for saving for your home.

It's all been sent- Printed out a wedding photo to include. Went to my biometrics appointment. Wrote priority settlement on every side that I could and the (British!) guy at ups wrapped it up for me. This is terrifying and I hate it. So anxious now.

Don't be anxious! As the wise ones on here have said it's a tick box application and you worked so hard and made sure you had everything to tick the boxes!

Good luck hopefully you will be back together in no time and also ...no more seperations!!!!

Obviously we are doubting everything we have done and now we are wondering did we need to copy every page of my passport ? That seems a little ridiculous but is this true ?

Oh I wish haha. I'm just an anxious person unfortunately
Had to go back to the UPS because I forgot to sign the application ugh. Hopefully that's all that was done wrong!
But yay for no more separations! Well, only one more short one. We're seeing each other in June in Orlando for my family's reunion, and I put my travel date as 5 days after it ends so I can have a few days with my parents and to pack.

nope you only needed to do the biometrics page of your passport, but at least you sent that page they just won't look at the rest.

stop thinking about it now its gone and you guys were so prepared!

No, for the spouse visa, you just need the main info page.
For FLR, if not sending the actual passport, you need to copy every single page and send that.

no it doesn't! I was on a student visa in Ireland and came home to do the visa so I've been stuck at my parents who no longer live where grew up, so no job friends or car to get around! so I totally get it!

but leave in 2 days so I know that there is light at the end of the tunnel! and there is for you too!!

Oh yay! So happy for you. I know it's been forever for you. That's so awesome!

No I just seriously hated my job and couldn't stomach it anymore, so it's my fault I don't have a job right now haha. It paid really well but it wasn't worth me being miserable and getting yelled at every day (car insurance claims).
