My appointment is on 4 August, and I elected to get the document checking service. Because I'm paranoid and had some wiggle room in my savings allotment for the ILR.
I've been uploading all my docs onto the website ahead of time tho haven't hit that submit button because I need to go through all the uploads with a fine toothed comb.
Today, I got an email from UKVCAS Customer Services about the document checking. It reads:
Thank you for uploading your supporting documents to the UK Visas and Citizenship Application Service website. We have now completed the following checks of the files that were available as of 28/07/2022.
- Checked for the presence of all mandatory documents
- Checked that all documents are legible
- Checked that all documents been uploaded to the correct category
- Checked for any obvious missing pages
- Checked that all uploaded documents are in either English or Welsh language, or have an accompanying English or Welsh translation.
No action required: Following a review of supporting documents available, we can confirm that:
- Mandatory documents are present in all required categories
- All documents are legible
- All documents have been uploaded to the correct category
- There are no obvious missing pages in any of the documents
- All documents are in either English or Welsh language, or are accompanied with an English or Welsh translation that obviously relates to the original
Taking this as only good news as I, for some reason, thought the document checking service would happen at the actual appointment. Also taking it as a sign that this will be approved because my brain will not stop stressing.
