Terinth, not sure you're going to get too many responses, since, for the most part, we're Americans living in the UK. But when I go back to the US for short visits, I feel British enough to miss certain things until I get back home (here, the UK). Does that count? You didn't ask about TV and that's my first thing. Love it when I can find BBC World News when I'm off in some outside-of-UK hotel. Then I guess it would be the tea. Decent tasting tea. I smile when I see Marmite, but I don't pine for it *coughcough*. Cadbury's (and other European choccies) is a good thing that's done so much better than what the US does. I miss lamb, like minted lamb joints. For the short time away, you're not going to get me missing haggis, nor really Guiness, but I do make sure I get haggis, neaps and tatties in Scotland and Guiness in Ireland. A good Indian curry usually tastes better on this side of the pond. I could go on...
