Enough to make you give up drink, eh?
The two last tickets I booked, I used
www.travelocity.co.uk. What I like about them is that you can tell the site that your dates are flexible, and it will find fares within a range of months that you specify. You can then select the dates that you want within that range. It can be a bit frustrating, though, in that you can select a date that is claims is valid, and then it will tell you that there are no seats available at that fare on that particular date. So it takes a bit of slogging through the program to actually book your tickets.
Another thing I tend to do is use
www.qixo.com to get an idea of what fares are running, although I'm not sure that you can actually book your tickets from the UK using that site. I'll take the lowest fare I find on there and check the actual airline sites/other travel sites to see if they match it.
