i LOVE york.  i've been there but she hasn't.  would be nice to see a bit of the countryside.

If you're considering going as far as York, and you've already been to York... How about Whitby on the North Yorkshire coast?  Lovely old fishing village, cold windswept seaside (this time of year...well, any time of year...lol), great fish & chips, also the Dracula connection -- it's where Dracula came ashore in England (in the book of course :)).  You pass through the North Yorkshire moors to get there.  Lots of arty shops -- particularly for locally made jewelry with jet and amber. ;D  I love Whitby.

Prague...it's lovely, it's cheap & they do have great hotels and I'm sure a spa or two...I went there with Roy and would easily do it with a girlfriend!
